2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are provided in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices may vary depending on site conditions, access, area size, and seed or mulch specifications. A written quote will be provided before work commences.
3. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Our services come with guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that cannot be excluded where you are a consumer under that Act. These include that services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, be fit for purpose, and completed within a reasonable time. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under this Act.
4. Fair Trading Act 1986
We comply with the Fair Trading Act 1986. We will not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct, and all representations about our services are made honestly and in good faith.
5. Site Conditions and Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the work area, clearing the area of debris or obstructions prior to the scheduled date, and advising us of any underground services, irrigation lines, or hazards. Hydroseeding Hamilton accepts no liability for damage caused by undisclosed hazards or conditions.
6. Aftercare and Germination
Successful lawn establishment requires appropriate aftercare by the customer, including regular watering as advised, keeping foot traffic off seeded areas until established, and protecting newly seeded areas from birds or weather damage. We will provide aftercare instructions at the time of service. Germination results may vary depending on soil type, weather conditions, and adherence to aftercare guidelines. Hydroseeding Hamilton is not liable for poor results caused by inadequate aftercare.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer. Overdue accounts may incur interest charges and recovery costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hydroseeding Hamilton’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
